Nighthawk finished

I put the finishing touches on Nighthawk today (title may change, we’ll have to see), and I have to say it turned out beautifully. I won’t have enough time to weather it properly for my SCSU show coming up on the 22nd though. It seems a shame to hide it in my studio through the winter… so I’ve decided to exhibit it pre-rust but post-beadblasting. The almost luminescent quality of the bare, white metal should compliment the patina of the other works quite well. It’ll be interesting to see.
