Introducing the Artifacts
The first sculptures are finally complete…
and I couldn’t be happier! If you didn’t catch my earlier posts about the origin of these pieces, you can find them here and here. These are all one-of-a-kind sculptures, fabricated entirely by myself (as usual). They are a mix of mild and Cor-ten steel, finished with a two-part paint process and then waxed, which gives them a rich, aged-bronze feel. Really, the pictures don’t do them justice.
Eventually I will probably set up a portfolio page for these (Update… it’s HERE), but for now I will just post them here on the blog as I complete them. These are the first five, and there are another two coming shortly.
I wanted to have these finished up soon because ’tis the season and a sculpture would make a great gift for someone special… or even for yourself. You’re special too, right? Absolute satisfaction is guaranteed, and because it’s the holiday season, shipping is on me. But if you want one by December 25th, get in touch with me by the 13th due to my own holiday schedule.
I don’t have a shopping cart or anything like that, so just drop me an email and we’ll work out the details. (I take PayPal, personal check, cash, American Silver Eagles – basically whatever works for you.) Okay, let’s get to ’em…

Nice – they remind me a bit of Theodore Roszak’s work!

Sam – These are Fantastic! I just love these pieces. I will have to get one of these for myself… Way to go – You will sell these out.
Great idea – sort of like Bill Moore and his Bird House Disks…
See you at Tinkas’…

Makes me think of some of Wharton Esherick’s sculpture work.
